Free shipping is available on all sample cuttings to all countries we currently ship to online. Free shipping on cut yardage fabric is available to the contiguous United States only (if applicable).
Famcor Fabric does not fold our fabric when shipping. We do this to avoid any creasing or other abnormalities in the fabric. Each roll we cut from averages 55 inches. Therefore we use 60" boxes to ship our fabric. Shipping carriers recently added an “extra handling fee” for all packages greater than 48 inches in length (previously it was packages greater than 60 inches). So, the price you see in Famcor's shipping calculator is straight from the UPS calculator with the 60" package handling fee included. If you don't believe us, here is the link explaining such at UPS:
Famcorfabrics.com sells only 100% first quality upholstery fabrics. We do not sell close-outs, overstocks or remnants. Fabric orders are hand inspected yard by yard during order processing to ensure quality control criteria are met prior to shipment of our custom cut goods.
Due to the fact that our fabric has been pre-inspected for flaws and the fact that exact yardage is custom cut for each individual order we cannot accept returns unless the fabric in fact has flaws, is somehow damaged (not including wrinkled) during shipping.
We encourage our customers to order a sample cutting of our fabrics to make sure the fabric is right for your needs prior to placing your fabric order. The price of samples includes standard USPS shipping and handling. Sample cuttings allow you to experience the full range of colors and textures and see how it will actually look and feel in your home. Please note that sample cuttings that are sent may not come from the roll that an order eventually comes from. For that reason we cannot guarantee slight variations in die lots between sample cuttings and delivered goods.
We highly recommend that you order a sample prior to purchase since computers are not always accurate in displaying colors. While we make every artistic and technical effort to assure our online digital pictures accurately portray our fabric on your computer, computers and monitors vary as well as contrast, brightness and color temperature controls of each monitor and graphics card, and therefore may impact your visual interpretation.
